Technology & Infrastructure
The schools we support lack adequate infrastructure such as water systems, libraries, toilets, classrooms. HSK is committed to changing this situation and creating the best learning environments so that children can thrive. HSK has led transformative changes across our network of schools, including building libraries stocked with books, installing rainwater collection tanks for sustainable water supply, and providing new toilets. Through a partnership with a coworking space, and other generous donations, we have filled classrooms with new desks so that every child has space to learn.
HSKs latest project aims to bridge the digital divide. Recognising the increasing importance of IT and computer literacy, HSK is launching a project to establish a computer lab at one of our primary schools. Many students currently rely solely on textbooks to learn about IT, putting them at a disadvantage when they progress in their education.
We are actively seeking financial support to purchase computers to roll out the project. Help us empower children through digital literacy.
