In 2015, Michael was asked to administer the building of a new Assembly Hall at Ngecho Secondary School. This was by far the largest project that HSK had committed to undertake. The project has provided the school with unrivaled space and an additional revenue stream. Along with his wife, Helen, Michael feels a deep commitment to bringing better education and well-being to the schools under HSK’s domain.

Rachel has been working with schools and charitable organisations in Africa for a number of years. She spearheaded the Lunchbox programme and has so far run four marathons for HSK, raising over £20,000. She is deeply committed to the schools and her passion for education has taken her on her own personal journey to become a primary school teacher in the UK.

A citizen of Kenya and the Headmaster of Peponi Secondary School in Nairobi, Mark brings HSK a wealth of experience in supporting teachers and school communities. He also helps to run our Volunteer programme, giving UK students the opportunity to come and experience life in Kenya.
